tentatively drafting and reluctantly studying

i've been tentatively drafting the idea i talked about last night. i've got 2 chapters down, about 1100 words in total so far

it's a romance (of course it is), so i've been vaguely following some beat sheets (mostly "romancing the beat") for my outline. writing romantic fanfic is definitely different from original romantic fiction, since the audience already knows the characters and setting

i have another twoshot that i uploaded the first part to over a month ago. the second part has been drafted for a long time, but still needs polishing, which i'll do... sometime this month. i'm taking it easy

i was originally planning to finish it in february, but...

i've been trying to study today, but i'm generally very unmotivated. something is better than nothing, though. i'm hoping to get another subtopic or two done today, from any subject (not gonna be picky)

i've been slowly enjoying a milk tea since i'm not obligated to be in school for a while. hopefully i can enjoy that alongside, y'know, something enjoyable (ie. not studying)

my throat has been sore, no matter how much water i drink, which is very annoying. i think it's from keeping the aircon on for so long, but i cannot stand the heat
