Yes, many people from Tumblr report worsening problems there. :(

You might like newcomers. It has many posts about how to use Dreamwidth and where to find things you'll like here. soc_puppet has been posting how-to posts regarding the switch from Tumblr to Dreamwidth.

yep, i've definitely seen soc_puppet's dreamwidth stuff on tumblr! it's one of the reasons i decided to get more active here ^^

Yay! I'm delighted to hear that.

This is the first time we've actually managed to assemble a team effort during an exodus event. soc_puppet is on Tumblr and Dreamwidth, while I'm on Dreamwidth and already had newcomers established for the purpose of welcoming new users. We're hoping that promoting across both platforms will improve success.
